Looking back at the VolinHA-HO project

VolinHA-HO project ended with various dissemination events in each partner’s country. In Paris, a conference gathered around 100 participants on the question: “Which role for volunteering in humanitarian crises?” Here is a short presentation of the project.

From 2015 to 2017, 15 partners organizations of VolinHA project shared their practices on managing volunteers (local and international). But, what does it imply in daily work to host a volunteer from an other country? How do we understand each other, how do we work beyond intercultural differences?

To address this question, FOCSIV and Comhlamh created a resource called “Intercultural collaboration in international volunteering”. Discover in this document guidelines to discuss about interculturality, and 15 activities to get ready and enriched from differences!

Try it, in your team meetings, workshop and trainings with volunteers – and share the tool around you!
